Claire Rowe is an active 14 year old student at Ladue High School in St.Louis, Missouri. Her personal connection to the fight against cyberbullying began when an Instagram account called "I Hate Claire Rowe" followed her in November, 2014. The user behind the account tormented her and said hurtful and vicious things for everyone to see. She had previously established STAMP Out Cyberbullying during middle school, but this Instagram account is what made the fight personal for her.
Claire is troubled by the trend in teen suicide surrounding cyberbullying attacks. "Cyberbullying can be deadly, and no one wants to contribute to someone ending their life. It is a problem that has to stop, and I hope I can help make that happen."
Claire has collaborated with bullying prevention organizations such as the Megan Meier Foundation, ICAC Task Force, as well as individual school districts all in hopes of providing education and preventing cyberbullying.
In addition to staying busy with the STAMP Campaign, Claire is also proud to be representing her hometown in the Miss Missouri's Outstanding Teen competition in June, 2016 as Miss Metro St. Louis' Outstanding Teen.
